While watching Marck Espejo and Bryan's most recent match on Sunday, you'll notice something that should make us all proud: our country's flag was displayed on the screen during the match. Nowadays, Japanese volleyball fans regard us highly due to the excellent performances of our world-class volleyball players, particularly Bryan Bagunas, Jaja Santiago, and Marck Espejo, which exemplify the caliber of our athletes competing at this elite level.

The fact that our Filipino sportsmen are becoming well-known throughout the world, not just in boxing and basketball, but now in volleyball, is exactly what we've all been waiting for and dreaming of!

These athletes, Bryan Bagunas, Jaja Santiago, and Marck Espejo, who are widely regarded as the pride of our country, are doing everything they can to represent us and our country on the international stage. It is the flag of our nation that they carry on their backs and in their hearts each and every time they spring to their feet, spike the ball, and score points versus top-notch athletes from all over the world. As well as their successes in the Japan V. League, where they have been awarded best player not once, but several times during their professional career.

We take pride anytime we see our country's flag on screen, even more so when it is broadcast in a foreign nation such as Japan, where volleyball players are generally considered to be among the best in the world. As a result, witnessing our Filipino volleyball athletes thrive, develop, and succeed in Japan inspires us to believe that we, too, can accomplish greatness if we work hard and conquer challenges, most importantly by trusting in God, the only one who can bless and reward our efforts!

Additionally, the Philippine government should acknowledge and recognize Bryan Bagunas, Jaja Santiago, Dindin Santiago-Manabat, Marck Espejo, and Mylene Paat, among numerous other athletes and contributors to our national sport, for their exceptional achievements and efforts. I hope that the Philippine sports official would continue to support and promote Philippine volleyball, particularly their separate men's and women's leagues, in order to further develop their abilities and talents in our country.

Finally, let us continue to pray for them, hoping they will receive the advantages, recognition, and help they so well deserve!

In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, I pray that God would continue to bless and direct our Filipino athletes and our country for His glory. Amen.

The highest praise and glory be to our God!
