The famed volleyball prowess and power of Bryan Bagunas are back!
Bryan Bagunas and Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler put up a spectacular comeback attempt against their tough opponent, Suntory Sunbirds, in the Japan V. League Division 1 2021-22 Season at the Kumamoto Prefectural Gymnasium on Saturday.
Bryan Bagunas has finally redeemed himself after a heartbreaking and humiliating loss last weekend in which he only played a fraction of the first set.
But he didn't just show up; this is without a doubt one of Bryan Bagunas' best games in the Japan V. League, one that his Filipino and Japanese fans will never forget.
Oita Miyoshi and Bryan Bagunas dominated the second and third sets, nearly winning the match. However, they were defeated by scores of 25-20, 25-27, 25-27, 25-18, and 15-12 in the fourth and fifth rounds probably due to exhaustion.
Despite Weisse Adler's loss, Bryan Bagunas has shown that he is still a force to be reckoned with in Japan V. League Division 1 by scoring a monstrous 26 points on 23 attacks and three block kills against the Suntory Sunbirds.
Between these two persistent opponents, especially Bryan Bagunas and Suntory's Cuban import Alain de Armas, it was a neck-and-neck battle. Bagunas led the team with 26 points, while Alain finished with 28.
Take a look at Bryan Baguna's incredible performance against the Suntory Sunbirds.
