In the 2021-22 Japan V. League season, Oita Miyoshi and Bryan Bagunas ended their losing streak by defeating JTEKT in a five-set thriller at CNA Arena Akita, 25-23, 11-25, 12-25, 25-22, 15-13.

The Weisse Adler, who snapped a seven-game losing streak, improved to 2-7 for ninth place, while the Stings fell to 5-4 for sixth place.

Bryan Bagunas was on fire from the first set through the fifth. Finally, he disproved his critics and doubters and made a strong comeback to lead the charge for Oita Miyoshi's victory. Bryan scored four consecutive points, particularly in the last set, which startled the home team and the Arena fans.

Bryan Bagunas earned 23 points on 19 of 39 attacks, three block kills, and one service ace. With 66.7 percent and 48.7 percent, respectively, his back attack and attack percentages were extremely high. In fact, Bryan's strong performance was enough to earn him the award for Best Player of the Game. Unfortunately, it was handed to Kota Yamada instead of him.

Yamada only got 11 points out of 19 tries, with a 57.9% decision rate. To be honest, he didn't play well today since he committed multiple service errors and was limited in his attacks by JTEKT's tough blockers.

Emerson also scored 23 points as a result of Naoki, the Japanese setter, providing him with 48 attack opportunities. His total was made up of 21 attacks, one block, and an ace. With 43.8 percent, he had a substantially lower decision rate than Bryan Bagunas.
