Our Philippine Pride, Marck Espejo emerged as the best player of the game when FC Tokyo bounced back and won against JT Thunders Hiroshima in four thrilling sets with the score of 25-21, 25-16, 24-26 and 25-17 in the Japan V. League 2021-22 Season at the Sumida Ward General Gymnasium Tokyo.


Marck Espejo thunderstrucked JT Thunders with his powerful attacks in front, at the back and even at the service line. He also had several excellent receives and digs that helped his team execute their plays and game plan. No wonder he was chosen as the best player of the game after the match.


The Phenom Marck Espejo led FC Tokyo’s win with 16 points out of 24 attempts built on 11 attacks, three block kills and two services aces. His determination rate was at all time high as well at 45.8%


Furthermore, Marck Espejo also dominated the back row attack department with 62.5% determination rate. He got 30 points higher than his fellow import Kvaren Jonas and 7 points better than Australian import Thomas Edgar. Thus, Espejo’s impeccable performance today definitely and formally announced that he’s indeed a force to be reckoned with in the Japan V. League Division 1 tournament.
