In LET'S SHARE GOD'S WORD!
By: Brother Don (Inspired by the Holy Spirit. To God, all the praise and glory!) This approaching New Year 2022, people all across the world will be hoping and praying for A NEW LIFE and A NEW BEGINNING, just as they have in previous years. However, the more we yearn for a fresh start and the desire to meet our needs and wants, the more we will realize that we have already failed even before we started. For the simple reason that, apart from CHRIST, we are ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! However, despite the passage of time, the quality of life on Earth is deteriorating more. Even though we all have access to technological advancements, information gained from books, and life lessons, mankind has not yet achieved its ultimate objective. Still a lot of people are suffering while others have placed their hopes in their possessions, their businesses, and even their own efforts, but everything is to no avail. Do you know why this is happening? Because LIFE IS MEANINGLESS IF CHRIST IS NOT PRESENT! So how can we achieve true joy? What should we do to have a joyful and fulfilled life? Let’s read our Lord Jesus words in John 15:4-11, which says, John 15:4-11 (ESV) 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. The Vine and the Branches are Inseparable! Our Lord Jesus' words are crystal clear: The KEY TO LIVING is through ABIDING IN JESUS! “ABIDE in ME, and I in you.” Our Lord Jesus is revealing to us the secret of how we should live and that is through ABIDING IN HIM, and HE abides in us! Our Lord Jesus is the vine, and we are the branches. What our Lord Jesus is saying is that we are unable to live a fruitful life without him. He used the image of the vine and its branches, and these two elements are inextricably linked. The first phrase suggests that the branches and the main vine are tightly connected. If we interpret it literally, it only means that we must be ONE WITH JESUS in order to exist and live! Except by ABIDING IN JESUS and allowing HIM to abide in us, there is no other path, and there is no other answer that we should all pursue together. The solution to the question of what we should do or what is the purpose of our lives is far too plain and straightforward! Nothing more and nothing less is required; the only requirement is that we ABIDE IN JESUS CHRIST! 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. Everyone wants to be successful, and everybody wants to realize their dreams, but the words of our LORD JESUS make it obvious that, APART FROM HIM we can do NOTHING! So, no matter what we do or how hard we try to do things on our own, even if our goal is to better ourselves, we will never succeed without JESUS CHRIST in our lives! 6 If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. NOW, this is a stern warning from the LORD JESUS, who is telling us that if we do not ABIDE IN HIM, our lives would be absolutely and completely pointless, with their sole purpose being to be thrown into the fire and burnt. These statements from our LORD JESUS have eternal consequences if we do not continue to abide in Him. It indicates that we should all fear, follow, and obey Him because, if we do not, all of our works and efforts would be completely useless in the end. Our Lord Jesus' teachings also speak of judgment, stating that if we live our lives following our own ways, yet once we die, we shall all confront Him and find ourselves lacking in His presence, and will be cast into hell. Romans 3:23 (ESV) “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” 7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. "May God bless you!" is a statement that we often hear and say all the time, especially around the beginning of the year, and it represents a hope that God would protect and bless us together with our loved ones and friends. Blessing us is one of the ways our God glorifies His name, and it is also His purpose and intention for us from the beginning to bring fruit for His glory. This promise, however, can only be fulfilled by remaining in our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Lord Jesus went on to say that if we abide in Him and follow and obey His instructions or commands, we may ask whatever we want, and it would be done for us for the glory of His Father. 9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. What does the word ‘abide’ mean? The Hebrew word found in the Old Testament is וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב – ‘yashab’, and the Greek word ‘ menō’ - μένω. New Testament writers both broaden and deepen our understanding of the English term 'abide' by introducing the concept of a relational element, the idea of having a relationship with another person, as well as the idea of a relationship taking place in a shared environment. Picture these concepts contributes to a more complete understanding of abide as a deep and intimate connection. In addition to just remaining in one area, it also involves preserving close connection. Personal relationship with God begins the instant we recognize our need for Him, confess our sinful state, and believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Throughout history, God, our heavenly Father, has shown a need for intimacy with us and a desire to establish a connection with us. 11 These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. Christ said these words, and we must remember when He said them. He would soon be in dark Gethsemane, confronting His accusers, and hearing their taunts and insults. And it's notable that this is the only time He mentions joy in the scriptures. In the midst of such adversity, the Lord's delight must have been special! ‘That my delight might be in you and your joy to be complete', He desires and provides for us (all believers). Our Lord Jesus assures us that if we are faithful to Him, His joy will remain in us. And Jesus is not interested in providing us with a tiny little bit of joy. He wishes to provide us with a complete picture of it. His delight is total joy, brimming with love and acceptance. However, in order to obtain His joy, Jesus requires us to obey Him as He obeyed the Father. Then, as in this Bible verse, we will share in His joy… 11 These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. The joy that our Lord Jesus desires for us is completely unique and incomparable to everything the world has to offer. His joy is perfect, and we will never feel depressed, hopeless, or disheartened because we shall experience pure joy in everything. Joy characterizes the life of a faithful Christian: joy after conversion, joy when reading God's Word, joy while praying, joy amid difficulties, joy while suffering, joy while serving, and joy at the conclusion of life's journey. If we truly love and follow the Lord Jesus, we will be filled with fullness of joy! This new year 2022, let us all pray that God will allow us to experience the fullness of true joy that only He alone can provide, as we abide in Him through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Written by: Brother Donald Let's Share Jesus! Inspired by the Holy Spirit God alone deserves all glory! What role does God have in your life? Do you have a lot of hurt, anguish, or suffering in your life? Is it possible that God is doing anything special in your life right now? One of the most significant promises in the entire Bible is found in Romans 8:28 (KJV), "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Looking back, I could never have imagined that I would be sharing this message with you all about how God worked in my life and changed it for His glory. I've been through a lot of pain, rejection, and sorrow that no one close to me or even my family knows about. I ran away from home because of family issues, just carrying a few sets of clothes with me in my backpack, and that was the beginning of my troubles. I've lived in poverty and been on the verge of death numerous times, However, I witnessed firsthand how our God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, turned my life around, re-embraced me in His loving arms, and gave me a fresh beginning. And it is for this reason that I am passionate at the prospect of being able to share the redeemed grace and overflowing love of God and our Lord Jesus Christ with all of you, especially now that we are all living in perilous times. I believe that God places challenges and afflictions in our lives for a specific reason and with a certain purpose in mind. It's natural to feel downhearted and pessimistic about our prospects or future, as if we'll never make it. In contrast, when we are on the verge of giving up, our LORD JESUS will lift us up and show us the path to take in order to find Him, as He is the only WAY and the only ONE who can help and save us in times of trouble. My life has been transformed by our LORD JESUS, and I am confident that He can do the same for you! How? Every circumstance is being orchestrated by God to work together for the good of those who love Him, and God is at the helm of the operation. Everything will come together for our benefit in order for us to reach His goal. All of our pains and tribulations, persecutions, and natural disasters to which we are subjected are referred to as "everything" or "all things." Paul is thinking on the trials and tribulations of Christians. All of our lives have been planned and directed by the Lord God, says the Apostle Paul. This is so that God's ultimate goal can be achieved in us and through us for His glory. THE REAL GOAL - CONFORMITY TO CHRIST What is God's purpose? His goal is to make us like His Son. That doesn't mean "everything" will function smoothly for everyone. It is only available to those who believe in Jesus Christ. Only those who love God understand how everything works together for their good. The word "good" does not connote health, wealth, or prosperity. God seeks "goodness" in the shape of Christ-likeness. He is at work in all things to complete us in Christ. Then we may understand how God utilizes our sickness, pain, and sorrow to achieve His objectives in our lives. We come across many examples of nasty, evil things. It's naturally bad, but God makes it good. Conformity to Christ's character is the "ideal" goal. The Lord God has planned and guided our entire existence, says Paul. This is so God's ultimate objective may be realized in us and through us for His glory. God uses even the most terrible acts to make us more like Christ. We don't always understand how things work out until they're finished, and then we see how everything comes together to influence people through the gospel. Remember, faithful followers of our Lord Jesus Christ, God's Word and His promises are forever true and trustworthy. Heaven and earth will pass away, but our Lord's Word will stand forever (Matthew 24:35). The Bible, on the other hand, frequently teaches us that the world we live in today will cease to exist or will not continue forever and even the heavens. As a result, nothing in our life can undermine God's purposes – absolutely nothing! This is what Romans 8:28 is all about. While circumstances might seem not always work in our favor, "God works all things" for His ultimate purposes. And He is actively involved in our life. They were created by God to work toward that aim. Even evil things are fashioned to accomplish His plan when joined with everything else. "All things" are brought together and contribute to God's eternal purpose through the unfathomable love and infinite wisdom of our All-Powerful God! "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28) “Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6) God's everlasting plan for you and me did not come to a stop at the time of salvation, when we confessed Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior; rather, it is only just the beginning. Despite the fact that we may stumble and fall along the way, our Lord Jesus will always pick us up and help us to get back on our feet because He is true to who He is. No matter what circumstance or situation you and I are going through right now, we can always be confident and assured that our God will work all things for our good and will fulfill and finish His promise to us to be like Christ and to live with Him forever. AMEN!

It is hard to grasp that God came to Earth to be among us! How could this be possible? As to why the Son of God left heaven and came to earth. In the end, it all worked out in God's favor since it was all part of his plan to redeem mankind from their sins and pay the ultimate price. Wow, that's amazing! God is always with us! We are really blessed to have received such a wonderful promise from God. Regardless of what happens, God is always there for us! Even in the midst of our greatest joys and worst sorrows, God is with us and will always remain Emmanuel, or God with us through our Lord Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen!

GOD WARNED WARNS THE CHURCH OR CHRISTIANS NOT TO PRACTICE THESE THINGS! Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God! The Greek word “pharmakeia” is the root word for pharmacy and pharmaceutical, obviously, but in the Greek it actually means “sorcery” or “witchcraft or magic.” Galatians 5:20-21 (20) idolatry and sorcery; hatred, discord, jealousy, and rage; rivalries, divisions, factions, (21) and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. (Written by: Brother Donald through God's grace and the Holy Spirit's assistance. All honor and praise go to our God!) What is your goal in life? One of the most difficult tasks we will ever face is determining the meaning of our existence. The rest of the world, in fact, has no idea what the most important objective in life is. Even in the past, people based and obtained their aspirations from others, particularly when they watch television, read the news, or go to the movies. It’s hard to know our goals in life because the world bombards us with materialistic ideals that are simply fleeting and have no everlasting significance. Even at the most elite schools and institutions, the most crucial life goals are never taught. It is also unknown to secular wisdom, new age groups, secret organizations, and world religions. Why? The good news of our Lord Jesus Christ is the only thing that gives our lives true meaning. My Testimony I was naïve to the genuine meaning of life when I hadn’t yet encountered our Lord Jesus Christ in my life, especially when I was young. I have absolutely no idea what the point of life is. I didn’t know or have a response to the question, “What is your life’s goal?” I became terrified and worried about my future. ” Even when I asked my parents, friends, and professors, they just told me that I should be the one to find out. It simply implies that no one, not even ourselves, understands what the most essential aim in life is. When I became a Christian, I discovered that our Lord Jesus Christ indwells the believer through His death and resurrection, as well as the coming of the Holy Spirit, and this is the founding principle of Christianity. Our Lord Jesus spoke the most amazing words to His followers the night before He died on the cross. Christ’s Teaching Life’s Goal “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching and my Father will love him and we will come to him and make our home in him.” (John 14:23) So, what does all of this mean? It indicates that our main goal in life should be to love God. Not earthly prosperity, personal gain or popularity, or even the love of money, which is the source of all evil, but only adoring and following God. To those who love Jesus (Yeshua) He said, “My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him”—who is the “we” here? The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are collectively referred to as “we.” This is the only passage in the New Testament that states that we are indwelt by the Father. Thus, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit take up home in us. By loving Jesus and following His teachings, we may discover our life’s ultimate purpose. Our Lord Jesus’ life is the ideal model and example of how we should live. Our Ultimate Life Goal Our ultimate desire should be to love God, and our second highest goal should be to care about people. When asked what the Bible’s most significant command was, Jesus replied, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matt 22:36-40 When a less important life’s goal gets in the way of loving God and loving people, we say we’ve failed. An important question to ask oneself when making decisions is… “Does it demonstrate a genuine love for God and others?” If not, don’t do it! The law of love is that love reigns supreme! What Is My life’s Goal Now? After reading this, consider these questions: Is it part of my life objectives to love God and follow Christ’s teachings? As a Christian, do I love God and others? Am I loving God and following Jesus’ teachings or the world? Furthermore, the world encourages people all over the world to love themselves, to pursue their own goals, fantasies, and hopes for the future, which are devilish lies and falsehoods! These are completely opposite to Christ’s teachings, which are to love Him and obey His commands. Life Goal Mystery Revealed in Christ This is why it’s called a “mystery” that has been concealed and kept secret since the creation of the world, but has been revealed to God’s saints through divine revelation. Finding the true goal in life is beyond man’s natural capacities or abilities to comprehend; it is a secret concealed in God’s counsel and disclosed only to His chosen servants. Finally, what is this divinely given secret? Christ in all His wonderful riches is literally residing in the lives of all Christians through His Spirit. “Christ in you is the hope of glory.” By the power of the Holy Spirit, the risen, ascended, and glorified Christ now dwells in our hearts. Not one of the most important questions is, ‘what is the purpose of my life?’ However, ‘what is God’s plan for my life?’ Are you certain that you understand and are carrying out God’s plan for your life? I have confidence in you, but not everyone is. It’s often difficult to comprehend how God carries out His plans in our lives in our chaotic and uncomfortable environment. Whatever your situation, in the midst of the world’s uncertainty, concerns, anxieties, and diversions, everyone of us may benefit from a stronger assurance that God is truly working out His purposes in our lives through our Lord Jesus Christ our Savior!

ISANG MAIKLING KUWENTO... (Juan 10:10) (2) AMININ NA MAY PROBLEMA TAYO.

Hebrews 6:1 (NLT) "So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don't need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God." What exactly are these "basic teachings about Christ"? In contrast to maturity, the metaphor for "foundation" relates to the ABCs or basic truths. "The word (or instruction) of the beginning of Christ" is accurately translated as "the elementary teaching of Christ." It's reminiscent of the first presentation of the gospel, or salvation plan. Some of his readers have identified with Christian believers to some level and claimed to be Christians, but there is no indication that these claims are true. Christians are supposed to be among the audience. However, there are people who come who do not have a saving relationship with Christ, as there are in any congregation. Some scholars regard this as a hypothetical example to persuade sincere believers not to return to Judaism due to Christ's atoning sacrifice and the new covenant's superiority. It is a mixed congregation of believers and unbelievers who look to be Christians on the outside but have never been spiritually regenerated. The harsh statements are directed at the unbelievers who are tempted to return to the Temple's Jewish customs. True believers will memorize the verses and concentrate their thoughts on Jesus, the author and finisher of their redemption. In these first verses, notice the distinction between mature believers who want to advance in their Christian lives and others who are stuck. The author is not implying that Christians should scorn or reject Christianity's fundamental beliefs. Every step of spiritual development starts with the basics. We never abandon them; rather, we become enamored with them. In the Christian life, there is no stopping point. As we gain more understanding and faith in Christ, we go from one level to the next. "PRESS ON TO MATURITY" "Let's be moved along" is not our personal effort, but "a personal surrender to an active influence," says B. F. Westcott. The Holy Spirit is in charge of this. The divine passive, as the name implies, denotes God's involvement. The Holy Spirit pushes the reader forward. All things are being moved or carried on to God's eternal plan for them via Christ. We must step aside and allow Him to work in and through us for the glory of God. In order to be carried forward to perfection, the believer must make himself available to Christ. He is adamant about not repeating himself with his students. The true dynamic of spiritual development is the Holy Spirit. "For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God" (Romans 8:14). The word "maturity" or "perfection" comes from the Greek word teleios, which means "mature." Let's progress from spiritual babies to responsible grownups. Let's progress from milk to substantial spiritual nourishment. Let's move on from second to third graders. Spiritual growth and advancement toward Christian maturity will be evidence of spiritual life. If there is no movement toward maturity, it is reasonable to question whether or not the Holy Spirit is there. The gospel seed will produce a harvest to the glory of God when it is sown in good soil. Where does Christ Jesus provide evidence of a healthy connection with God? In the person of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the full revelation of God to man has been made. He is no longer shrouded in shadows and types as he was in the Old Testament revelation, but the complete glory of God is revealed in the person of His Son. Let us now progress to a mature faith in Jesus Christ, who has fulfilled all of the types. "For God, who said, 'Light shall shine out of darkness,' is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ" (2 Corinthians 4:6). The author does not mean "leaving" in the sense of rejecting the fundamental message, but rather moving on to maturity. Let's take it a step farther. Let us continue to build on the foundational concepts and progress toward Christlikeness. When we allow Christ's Melchizedek priesthood to function in our lives, we will reach spiritual maturity.

Hebrews 6:1, (KJV) "Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God," Hebrews 6:1, (NLT) "So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don't need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God." WHY DOES SPIRITUAL GROWTH MATTER SO MUCH? Because his readers have not progressed beyond the gospel's fundamental truths, the author of Hebrews is concerned for them. Spiritually, they have not matured. He has scolded them for their spiritual immaturity (Heb. 5:11-14). He wants to teach his readers about the solid food found in the fulfillment of the Melchizedek priesthood in Jesus Christ's life and activity. "Concerning Him we have much to say" is referring to both Melchizedek and Christ. Some of his listeners, though, are "deafeningly deaf." Spiritually and mentally, they are sluggish. They have been in this situation for so long that they are unable to comprehend even the most basic Christian message. They should have grown spiritually mature enough to teach in the local church if they had actually been born again. Every Christian is required to be able to share and defend his or her testimony of God's rescuing grace. These readers are spiritual children who are unable to comprehend even the most fundamental spiritual truths. The ABC's of Christianity, or the most basic knowledge of what it means to become a Christian, are discussed in the context of Hebrews 5 and 6. These people are unable to recognize God's righteousness at its most fundamental or basic level. God's revelation regarding every believer's righteousness is referred to as the "message of righteousness." It is a right relationship established by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ. No one can be rescued apart from His saving grace. Something is amiss if this does not result in a changed life. Through the word of righteousness, we grow in maturity. It's disgraceful that some of these people don't know what they're talking about when it comes to Christian teaching. They've got plenty of opportunity to grow up. Some members of the church are of high spiritual awareness and are of full age. They have reached full maturity in God's unfathomable mysteries. This maturity is attained through combining faith with the promises of God's Word. Let us be careful not to engage in eisegesis, or reading something into the Bible that isn't there.

(Translated in Tagalog by brother Donald) Only God is worthy of all honor and glory!

1 Peter 1:24-25 NLT As the Scriptures say, “People are like grass; their beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades. But the Word of the Lord remains forever.” We discover that the Word was both with God and was God from the first chapter of John's Gospel. As Christians, we recognize Jesus the Christ as this Word. This Word is separate from creation because he is the one who created it, and he speaks in a different voice than we do. Everything else on earth and in heaven will perish, but God's Word will endure forever. As a result, this provides us with a great deal of relief. We can only rely on the Word since it is the only true thing. The Word—which is God's promise of unmerited favor to us in Jesus Christ—rather than people, possessions, institutions, or even our own selves. It is critical that we keep in mind that the Word is not about ourselves. I have the responsibility of proclaiming the Word as a follower of Jesus Christ. It isn't mine. You don't want my own word, after all. My word is not going to work. You don't want bishops' or churches' advice either. You'll be let down by these as well. Even your own word isn't enough for you. Even to the person who owns it, the human heart is deceiving and misleading. You want God's Word to take control of your life, not the other way around. It is the only Word that is certain and certain. The only Word of Life is Jesus Christ, the Word. When our friends, family, and churches fail us, we can be assured that God is still with us and will deliver us from all of our hardships and temptations. That is why it is critical that we adhere to God's Word rather than our own. We shall be led astray by our own words from the life that God desires for us. They will lure us away from the only way to know God, which is via Jesus the Christ. We have forgiveness of sins, reconciliation, and all of our hope in the face of adversity in Christ. Everything else, according to 1 Peter, melts or fades away. The grass and flowers will fade and fall away, but the Lord's Word will stand the test of time. God has committed himself to this Word and is faithful to his promises. His Word abounds with color, bringing life to our black-and-white world. May God keep us true to his Word and keep all other words at bay. May God keep us strong as we confront all of life's challenges. That is exactly what He does. Only God is worthy of all honor and glory!

By, Brother Donald Our God is worthy of the highest praise and glory! We can share and spread the Word of God through our online ministry, LET'S SHARE GOD'S WORD & WORSHIP TOGETHER! In the Great Commission, Jesus stated that his witnesses would carry the Gospel not only to Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria, but also to the farthest reaches of the globe. This far-flung corner of the globe provides a scriptural backdrop for evangelizing in cyberspace, Christianity's final frontier. We can also share a heartfelt message of God's comfort in the midst of life's challenges, encouraging others to seek and use God's Word in every circumstance and proclaiming the truth and power of God's life-changing Word. The Bible, or the message of our Lord Jesus Christ, is everything we need to overcome our daily struggles, especially now. Knowing that our Lord Jesus Christ will return soon to take us with him and to be with Him forever is our highest joy that is genuinely beyond our comprehension. Indeed, our Lord Jesus Christ's words are our only source of peace and hope in these final days, enabling us to continue fighting the good battle of faith despite life's challenges. As a result, let us continue to share God's word with our family, friends, and loved ones so that they may come to know the genuine source of eternal joy and eternal life, which is none other than our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Amen.

In LET'S SHARE GOD'S WORD!
Without a doubt, GOD is our only refuge and protector. Only He can keep us secure in this world, and only He can keep us safe. Run to the Lord for support whenever you're in trouble or feel alone, because He will never abandon you. He is our safe haven. The Lord has helped me through many challenges in my life, and He will help you as well. Stand steady, believe in Him, and put your complete trust in Him. You will fail if you try to navigate through life's difficulties on your own. Keep your attention on the Lord and be strong in Him. Commit yourself to Him in prayer, ponder on His Word, and worship Him constantly. He wants you to come to Him, so do so, and you will be OK. When you are going through a difficult moment in your life, you will always find protection in the Lord. Go into your prayer closet and tell God, "Lord, I need your help." You're aware of my predicament. In this storm, please provide me with shelter. Without you, I won't be able to complete this task. God will respond favorably to a prayer like this, in which there is complete reliance on Him and no reference to the flesh. Read Psalm 91 and pray to the Lord God with all your heart, and He will shield you from life's daily hardships and difficulties. If you say, "LORD, you are my refuge," and make Him your home, no harm will come your way, and no tragedy will strike you or your loved ones. Believe only in God's Word to assure you of His protection, for His Word alone is true, faithful and trustworthy! Here are some words from Psalm 91 to think about and dwell on: I will abide under the shadow of the Almighty. He is my refuge and my fortress; my God in Him will I trust. He will deliver me from the perilous pestilence. Under His wings will I take refuge. No plague will come near my dwelling. He gives His angels charge over me. I will call upon Him and He will answer me. Let us recite by heart these sacred words daily from the Book of Psalm 91. 1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” 3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. 9 If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, 10 no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. 11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. 14 “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

In LET'S SHARE GOD'S WORD!
The Parable of the Ten virgins warn everyone of the Bridegroom's arrival. The foolish will be turned away from the dinner, but the wise will be seated with their Groom. READ Matthew 25:1-13 QUESTIONS: In the story of the ten virgins, who does the Groom represent? In the tale of the 10 bridesmaids, whom do the young girls represent? What was the reason for the exclusion of half of the virgins from the wedding festivities? People who lack spiritual understanding are more likely to misunderstand parables. That's bad, because parables usually only have one main point to make, and it's almost always a straightforward one. It's terrifying to read and study a fable just to "miss it." This person's heart has clearly not been changed by the Holy Spirit. This parable offers a single key message that should be simple to grasp but is crucial. Let's look at the 10 virgins’ parable to see what Jesus was teaching. SETTING OF THE PARABLE OF THE TEN VIRGINS When Jesus had completed talking about his impending return to earth (also known as the Second Coming of Jesus), he began to tell a series of five parables. In Matthew 24, Jesus expressed fear and urgency about his impending return. He was well aware that his homecoming was not being taken seriously enough. The people didn't seem alarmed, they weren't asking questions, they weren't showing a quickening of their spirits. We can't tell when God will send his Son back to earth, according to Matthew 24:44. The angels and even Jesus himself are unaware of this top-secret information (Mark 13:32 ESV). The urgency of the situation is why Jesus is so frantic to elicit an emotional response from people. It will be too late to act once we see Jesus in the clouds coming from heaven. The goats will be left on Earth while his sheep have already been summoned home. Such a calamity has never occurred to this extent, yet Jesus utilized the realities of the Great Flood and Noah's Ark to emphasize the magnitude of the disaster he talks of. PARABLE OF THE TEN VIRGINS Let's take a look at the story of the 10 virgins and see if we can understand Jesus' admonition. People can grasp their responsibility to their Creator because Jesus is painting a vivid picture for them. He had just ended his previous analogy by stressing that everyone, including lost souls, will be held accountable for how wisely they used the riches God had given them (Matthew 24:45-51 ESV). Now Jesus depicts a wedding ceremony in which the Groom, who represents himself, is about to arrive at his wedding. The guests, bride, and ten bridesmaids, i.e. ten virgins, are all awaiting the arrival of the Groom at his house. Because these young ladies represent two types of individuals - the only two types of people possible: the wise and the stupid - this is known as the 10 virgins’ parable. Both you and I are represented in this room, but who is it? Which of the five bridesmaids (also known as virgins) is our representative? APPLYING THE TEN VIRGINS' PARABLE The Groom is Jesus Christ, and he will come soon to join the wise bridesmaids in celebrating the wedding feast. Time will have ran out once the Groom is spotted in the skies, and he will lock the door. The bumbling bridesmaids will be left outside, peering through the windows. Their lights will soon run out of oil, and they will stand before Jesus Christ on the Great White Throne of Judgment. The ultimate verdict will be read, and they will be left in the dark, weeping and gnashing their teeth. TAKE NOTE OF THIS! The Ten virgins’ tale directly notifies the world that the Son of God will arrive soon, possibly even now. Those of us who weren't expecting it will be taken aback by how quickly it all ended. The prospect of being caught up in a sinful lifestyle when Christ appears should be a terrifying nightmare for all of us. Consider what would happen if one of these two situations occurred right now: You die first. Second, Jesus appears again. Both of these things bind you to your eternal destiny. If you're not a disciple of Christ, that's terrifying! It is the Christian's responsibility to actively serve God. He must continue to serve others both inside and outside the church. The tale of the 10 virgins is a powerful motivator for Christians to be faithful to their Lord. We've all had times when we've felt completely drained. We need to be ministered to from time to time in order to keep our spirits strong. That is natural and understandable. Those who abandon the Groom, on the other hand, forfeit their God-given power to speculate on eternal life. Please don't be a knucklehead! The fact of Jesus' return is sometimes enough to turn people from their sin to the throne of grace. Tell everyone you know that Christ is returning - you may be surprised at the response. Those who win souls are wise Proverbs 11:30 (King James Version) “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this, we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord, himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (KJV: King James Version) Should Christians be expecting Jesus Christ's return? “So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts” (2 Peter 1:19). Before the Tribulation begins, all Christians should expect Jesus Christ to come and take them to heaven. They keep an eye out for the fulfillment of prophecies, which are also warning signs, while they wait for His return. We must be living in 'the times of the signs,' because there are so many warning indicators of the approaching Tribulation. Many warning signs have already been presented to us, and there will be many more to come. God gave Noah and his people 120 years of warning (Genesis 6:3); Lot and his family were given a warning; the Egyptians were given ten warning signs (Exodus 5:1-12:36); Nineveh was given a forty-day warning (Jonah 3:4); and Jesus gave the country of Israel a 37-year warning before her destruction (Matthew 24:1-2). God warns His people before His judgment, and those who obey are saved. He will do this with precise warning signs before the Tribulation begins, and then rapture them to save them. “Surely the Lord GOD does nothing unless He reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7). In LET'S SHARE GOD'S WORD!
John 1:12 speaks of receiving Jesus Christ and defines the term: "But as many as received him [Jesus Christ], to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John equates “receiving” Jesus with “believing” in Him, which results in one’s becoming a child of God. So, receiving Jesus has to do with FAITH. We trust who Jesus is and what He has done on our behalf. When we “receive” Jesus, we take Him to ourselves and cling to the truth about Him. To receive Jesus as our Savior means we look to Him and Him alone as the One who forgives our sin, mends our relationship with God, and provides us entrance to heaven. Scripture is plain that “salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). **To receive Jesus as our Lord **means we let go of the lesser gods we have built our lives around. We may know the facts about Jesus as detailed in the Bible—we can even acknowledge the truth of those facts—without being a part of God’s family. We cannot receive Jesus as Lord without displacing the idols in our lives—idols such as power, popularity, wealth, or comfort that we trust to provide us with purpose and strength. Jesus described the need to follow Him wholeheartedly in Luke 9:23: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” DO YOU WANT TO BE SAVED? When you receive God’s Son, you receive everlasting life. You can’t have one without the other: “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life” (1 John 5:12). “As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name” (John 1:12). Will you receive Him today? Carefully read and think about the Scripture verses quoted above. Then talk to God in your own words, confessing to Him that you are a sinner in need of salvation. Thank Him for sending Jesus to take the punishment your sins deserve. Put your total trust in what He has done for you. Ask Him to save you, and He will! “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” \(Acts 16:31). WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE SAVED? Pray and talk to God through our Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart. Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I repent for my sins and unless You save me, I am lost forever. I thank You for dying for me on the cross. I come to You now, Lord Jesus, knowing that You alone can save me. I now receive You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Mighty Name, Lord Jesus, Amen.
